located one floor up from the Commons - is
available for monitoring your health, consulting
with the medical staff, picking up prescriptions,
and getting regular medical or dental checkups.
Our proximity to four major medical centers is
an added bonus.
The 60-bed on-site Health Center is
committed to continued well-being and
independence. Another difference- Duncaster
rightly claims the most comprehensive life-care
program in New England. Doctors and a geriatric
nurse practitioner either see patients in the
Health Center or make house calls to apartments.
Residents with short-term medical care needs can
also receive services at home. Emergency call
buttons are located in every bedroom and bath.
For a more serious illness, residents receive
priority access to the Health Center for as long as
necessary. All of this is part of the monthly
service fee. You - and your loved ones - always
know that joining Duncaster absolutely
guarantees lifelong medical care.
And forget about worrisome medical claims and
paperwork. We take care of all government forms
and insurance claims. That in itself is a big relief.
